This sunflower popped up in our garden. We have multiple birdfeeders in our yard, so we assume a sunflower seed was dropped in the garden by a bird or squirrel or the wind. The beautiful design of the seeds inside sunflowers are truly amazing. Enjoy!

This photo was shot as part of a Macro Workshop on April 13th at 10:30 am using a Nikon D750 with a Nikkor 105mm Micro lens. The settings for the photo are ISO 640, f/3.3, 1/400s. I have always been drawn to the natural lines of plant life, and this bud immediately caught my attention with the bold red tip peaking out against the neutral green backdrop.

I was doing a (60) day (16) Island shoot for the Bahamas Ministry of Tourism. My assignment for the day was to go to the Club Med Resort and make pretty pictures. I saw that they had a water ski / wakeboard school so i went to the head instructor and asked if he could get me their best wakeboarder, the wakeboarder only spoke French but i was able to translate instructions as to what i wanted him to do, this was one of the final images.

I find long exposure photography peaceful. It helps me deal with the negative aspects of living with autism. I have wanted to capture a long exposure photo of the water surrounding this old dock for years, but could never seem to get to this beach by the lighthouse when there was enough movement in the water for what I envisioned. I have taken around a dozen photos here but the conditions were never quite right, and while I believe they were decent, they were not what I pictured in my mind. Thi

For 2 weeks every winter Sydney is lit up with amazing colours and beams of light over the Harbour Bridge, Opera House, and various buildings throughout the city. I captured this photo of the Opera House from across the water at the Overseas Passenger Terminal. I used a slow shutter speed (of 1 sec) to capture light trails from the passing water craft, and I held my iPhone up against my lens to create an artificial reflection on the water.Canon R6ii, RF 70-200mm f2.8 (@ 70mm), 1s, iso 200.
